VDK 4.4.0 - 10th Feb 2023

Summary

We are pleased to introduce VDK 4.4.0 which is a bug-fix and feature release.

In this release we have embedded all required plugins for the studio to work properly straight into the installer itself. All mentions of them in the resources view are now removed and they cannot be manually installed/removed/updated anymore.
This change ends the transition to get only one version to take care of which is the VDK version, instead of having to deal with the studio’s and components' version.

In some cases, prior to this release, some packages were prompted to be downloaded and forced the user to find them on its own in the resources view. It is not the case anymore as now, a popup will offer direct download of those missing packages.

On another note, grammars testing process has been enhanced to provide more information on the results we get from the engines.

Last, but not least, the global performance of the studio has been improved concerning mouse events processing .
