VDK 5.0.0 - 17th April 2023
Summary
We are pleased to introduce VDK 5.0.0 which is a major release.
In this release we are excited to announce the addition of a new technology in the VDK:
The Natural Language Understanding.
This technology will allow you to extract intents (turn_on, turn_off, …) and entities (lights, coffee machine, blinds, …) from a text source, usually retrieved beforehand using a speech recognition technology.
Beside this big news, we have also added some features among which the possibility of playing your phonetic dictionaries' entries on the fly.
As always, we hunt bugs down and a few minor ones have been corrected and are described later in this document.
